Trekking Pushkar- The Saint of hope.

23/10/2009
Later on my walk in The Pilgrimage city, Pushkar i meet this old saint. He was busy in gathering some money from the local shop owners. He didn't reacted strangely when i took his photo, must be because of his experiences with such encounters (As Pushkar is one of the favorite place for the street photographers.).

...Just an another day for survive...
15/10/2009Jaipur,
Hello friends...
Another shot from the heart of the city. I felt very bad when i read about the Poverty in India at Wikipedia. It's shocking to know that 42% of our people are living below International poverty line which is almost half of the total population. The main causes for poverty in India are from the past, the caste system and invasions by different countries are some of them.
Scene like this is very common here. Here also these men are threatened by the beast called poverty. These people have to fight everyday for their survival. They are mainly rag pickers or daily wage workers. I dream that there will be one day when there is no poverty in this world, there would be enough food for everyone so that no one has to sleep hungry, the children who are working today at different factories as child labors could secure bright future for there children... I hope the sun will rise in there life and the beast of poverty would be vanished.

...Hustling wings...
Hello again,These are the Green Bee-eaters, I took this shot at the back of Jal mahal. It's really a good place for bird watching specially for the species which live near to water. These Bee-eaters are very common in cities and as you can see it from their name their main food is bee, And their ability to catch the bee is very accurate...
Read more about Bee-eaters at Wikipedia- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_Bee-eater

Hello again,
Another fellow from my lens but this time the contradiction of smile,
I choose the black and white tone just to give feel to the shot.
On one hand you can see the logos of different brands but on the other hand a poor little boy is rag picking around. From this shot I want to say that what kind of development we are having in our country we talk about all these things like the rising India or like India as next superpower, But all these can’t be achieve until we could provide proper education to children like him. There is a well quote by Emily Dickinson an American poet; which is like this "If you take care of the small things, the big things take care of themselves. You can gain more control over your life by paying closer attention to the little things." This is what I want to say if we take care of these small children and provide education to them then in future they definitely add their role in developing our country.
Hope you would think about this.
With regards,
Vaibhav…

Hello friends,
This photo is of a man whom i found trapped in this crual and meen world...
It's morning to you, for me another day for survival.
It's a traffic signal to you, for me it’s my workplace.
It's the blue sky for you, for me it’s my blanket.
It's cold for you, for me it's invitation to death.
It's rain for you to enjoy, but for me it's water in my bed.
It's bread for you, for me its like an oasis in a desert.
For you it could be an interesting story, but for me it's life.
My face is stodgy like a grave, from the day I was born,
Spent childhood in the cradle of spines,
And now the life is bare footed on the hot coals,
That’s may life which is without any hope……

Kind regards,

...Colours...

Hello friends,
This photo has transformed into this state coincidentally... Actually i was experimenting on this leaf to get the shot of the drop on it but i didn't succeed in that. Later when i was doing some photoshop work to this shot the idea of using different colours stroke in my mind and the result is in front of you...
Many people says that black and white photography is the purest form but i think colours are also as good as black and white. And on being an Indian i realize what is the importance of colours in our life..
We have different colour for different festivals and each colour has it's own meaning... Colours can define the mood, one's physical state..Many animals in the world use colours to show their feelings like the lizards use them to warn the predators and birds use them to attract the other birds for mating...Find more about colours here- http://www.color-wheel-pro.com/color-meaning.html..
Hope you like it.

...Smile...

...Smile...
"Everytime you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing. "
-Mother Teresa
"Beauty is truth's smile when she beholds her own face in a perfect mirror. "
-Rabindranath Tagore
I found this small boy at my village Baamboli, Alwar.
He was enjoying the game of cricket with his friends in the fields,
I think that a smile can do what 1000 words can't ..
I also remember one beautiful line that is "Smile has no language".
